“Always ask your injector what toxin they use.

Botulax, a product from South Korea which is licensed there and in other countries but not in Britain. Under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, it is UNLAWFUL to sell or supply an unlicensed medicine, which includes practitioners selling treatments with these products.

Allergan Botox, Azzalure and Bocouture are the only 3 approved products in this country. Make sure your clinician uses U.K. pharmacies with licensed products.

There have recently been reports of many complications in the industry caused by non regulated clinicians using products from pharmacies that are not allowed to be injected in this country!!

Always do your homework and ask what is being used on your face”

Many of us worry about them but we all know wrinkles are a natural part of the aging process.

We can choose to either live with them or there are viable options to help smooth them or make them less visible.

Wrinkles are caused by a combination of factors, the main one being age. Skin loses its elasticity as we get older, production of natural oils decreases and this causes the appearance of these more-pronounced lines.

But as well as these inevitable biological aspects, there are other external factors to consider which favour the appearance of wrinkles. Exposure to ultraviolet light, whether in the form of sun exposure ☀️ or tanning beds, is the primary cause of early wrinkling. Smoking also has a detrimental effect and can contribute to the formation of wrinkles. Premature aging and skin damage can also be exacerbated by unhealthy habits such as a poor diet and a sedentary lifestyle.
