The most important thing you must do when a tooth is knocked out, damaged or out of position is to phone an emergency dentist as soon as you can, tell them what the problem is and make sure you have an appointment as soon as possible.
Once you have done that, there are a few things you can do that might help the dentist to save your teeth.
Your regular dentist may not be available and in order to get treatment as soon as possible it might be a case of, ‘any dentist in an emergency’.

Called the practice at 8am and was given an appointment that morning. Issue with my teeth was resolved less than 5 hours after the original call. I am still blown away that I was seen this quickly! This was for an NHS dentist too.

I saw Dr Raji Ranganathan and she was phenomenal. I had an extraction due to an infected wisdom tooth and was nervous due to past experiences in other practices- well no need as it was completely painless and fast.
Couldn’t believe how fast the tooth was removed. She had a lovely caring nature and I felt completely safe in her hands. I will definitely be back and have already recommended to family and friends.

Urgent root canal treatment
I recently needed an urgent root canal treatment, where I had a long-standing infection under a crown which my previous dental practice had not spotted.
Pav at Crown Wood did a fabulous job of carrying out the root canal without damaging the original crown. Very professional whilst managing to keep me relaxed throughout treatment, including step by step information on what he was doing which was very reassuring.
I've now switched dentists to the Crown Wood practice and would definitely recommend them to anyone!
